Ricky Teale gaat leiding geven aan Europese activiteiten van Zebco merken
Met ingang van 1 april zal Ricky Teale in dienst treden bij Zebco als Commercial Director Europe. In zijn nieuwe functie zal hij de Europese zaken aansturen, met name waar het gaat om Preston Innovations en Zebco Europe. Ricky zal in direct contact staan met Jeff Pontius, die wereldwijd de verantwoordelijkheid heeft voor de merken van Zebco en gevestigd is in de USA.
Hoewel de in Telford woonachtige Ricky vooral zal werken vanuit de UK, zal hij ook veel tijd doorbrengen op het vasteland van Europa om daar de groeimogelijkheden verder uit te bouwen. De managementteams van Preston Innovations en Zebco Europe zullen beide in nauw contact staan met Ricky.
Ricky is een bekende figuur binnen de hengelsportindustrie, hij was er al bijna twintig jaar actief in. Hij is al zijn hele leven een verwoed sportvisser, hij was veertien jaar actief voor Preston Innovations, op het eind als Managing Director, en bouwde Preston uit tot een van de grootste bedrijven in de UK. Hierna was Ricky vijf jaar actief voor Fox International als Group Marketing Director.

Het commentaar van Ricky hierop: “Although I’m proud of my time there, this is not about me going back to Preston Innovations. What attracted me to this position is the challenge to build a larger European fishing business based on the strengths of both Zebco Europe and Preston, as well as any others who might join us in the future!”
